OBJECTIVES

The main objective of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary for the use of 3D
printing technology in design, education and health care activities, as well as in various SME activities.

Module 1. Introduction to 3D printing technology
Module 2. Creation of an input file for a 3D printer
Module 3. Materials used in 3D printing
Module 4. Examples of the use of 3D printing in activities carried out in your profession
Module 5. Self-design and assembly of a 3D printer

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

Software and hardware required: Computer with audio and internet connection, web browser and email.
Previous knowledge required: Basic management of a web browser.

CERTIFICATE

The student who has passed the assessment will be awarded by a certificate of completion, issued by
the Instituto de Biomecánica (IBV).

The IBV reserves the right to cancel or postpone the course development due to insufficient number of students.
In this case, it will be communicated prior to the start.
